All children under the age of 7, are NOT required to present themselves at the Consulate General. Parents may submit their documentation together with a photograph of the minor's face.

If your photo is missing ANY of the following characteristics, you will be asked to submit a new photo and your case may be delayed:


1. Must be 50mm x 50mm (2 x 2 inches).
2. Must be a color photo.
3. Must have a white background.
4. The child must be wearing dark clothing
5. The child must be looking straight into the camera with his/her forehead and ears uncovered, and chin up.
6. Must NOT have a border.

Also note that if for medical or physiological reasons, you anticipate that we will have difficulty taking a photograph of an applicant 7 years old or older, you may bring a photograph to the interview. This photograph will be held to the same standards as listed above for applicants under 7 years of age.
