Visa Delivery
In order to provide you with better service, the U.S. Consulate General in Hermosillo has implemented a visa pass back through DHL. However, to ensure the security of your visa, DHL will not deliver your visa to your home address. The service will be provided through "OCURRE SERVICE", meaning you will receive your visa at an authorized DHL office in one of 6 cities: Hermosillo, Ciudad Obregon, Los Mochis, Culiacan, Mazatlan or Guaymas.
The delivery process is as follows:
- If your visa is authorized, consular officer will give you an approval sheet.
- Upon completion of the interview, you should proceed immediately to the authorized DHL office located less than one block from the Consulate General in Hermosillo (see map below).
- There, you will provide the DHL representative with the approval sheet and passport.
- You will be asked to choose from among one of the six authorized DHL offices (Hermosillo, Ciudad Obregon, Los Mochis, Culiacan, Mazatlan or Guaymas; see addresses below).
- You will be asked to pay for the service, currently between 120 and 280 Mexican Pesos, depending on which city you choose.
- Finally, with your approval sheet and DHL receipt, you will pick up your visa on the designated date at the location you chose the date of the interview in Hermosillo.
