How To Apply

In order to apply for a non-immigrant visa, first time applicants must:


  • Set a visa appointment:
    Within Mexico: (01-900)849-4949
    From the US: (011-52-477-788-7070)
    Note: Long distance charge will be billed to your telephone, and a service fee will be charged to your credit card.
  • Online appointment
  • Bring a receipt from BANAMEX Bank showing that you have paid IN PESOS the US $100.00 application fee.

    A laser visa is a combination of a visa and a border-crossing card. There is a worldwide fee of $100 USD to process an adult’s application for a US visa. The fee for a child under 14 depends on weather at least one parent has a visa or at least one parent is applying at the same time. This fee is $13 USD. Otherwise the infant must pay the adult’s fee ($100USD).
  • Bring a Mexican passport and all previous visas or micas.
  • Fill out the Visa Form (DS-156).
  • Males between 16 and 45 years old, are required to fill out the
    Supplementary visa form (DS-157) as well.
  • If your previous visa was lost or stolen, file a police report "Acta del Ministerio Público"
  • Minors younger than 6 years old do not need to come to the interview. Parents can apply on their behalf.
