Fee Increase for Non-Immigrant Visas
On January 1, 2008, the fee to apply for any non-immigrant visa to enter the United States, including tourist, business, student and other visas, will increase to $131 dollars world-wide.

Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative
As of January 31, 2008, adult travelers from the U.S., Canada, and Bermuda without a valid passport will be required to present proof of citizenship and proof of identity.
